Gepeng, Basuki, Asmuni, Timbul, Tarsan, Tessy, Nunung, Ana, Paul, and Djujuk form the Srimulat comedy group, journeying from Solo to Jakarta with dreams of performing on national television. Their path is fraught with challenges. To gain acceptance, they must switch to performing in Indonesian. In the midst of adapting, their journey is complicated by Gepeng's romantic saga with Royani, internal conflicts among the comedians, and Tessy's identity crisis, leading to imprisonment. Will they conquer the capital with their humor, or will they be the ones laughed at by the city, forced to face the reality that life is indeed a comedy?
